A joy to listen to
Such an enjoyable podcast, Alyson’s natural, genuine interest in her guests and sense of fun makes for really great listening - when she bursts out laughing, it is truly communicative and makes me wish I was part of the conversation! The subject matter is handled delicately, yet she isn’t afraid to ask difficult, searching questions. What the podcast sometimes lacks in sound quality, it more than makes up for with the huge enjoyment it brings. Definitely one to recommend - real women discussing the issues we face as we age - it is uplifting, kind, confidence-building, food for thought and a source of reassurance. A welcome reminder that we are not washed-up, middle-aged and invisible. Looking forward to the next one...!

Many thanks for the very inspiring interview with Lucinda Chambers. I particularly enjoyed her take on being fearless as she has become more experienced and learning a lot from her mistakes.

Loved this podcast. Lola Young mentored me at university and had a life changing effect on me. She encouraged me to do a postgrad degree. I love this lady.

Great to hear Lucinda Chambers being ‘interviewed’ by Alyson Walsh. Many older women have so much style, so keep the blog up!
