For classic science fiction and horror fans, the name Richard Matheson is not lost on them. With an impressive resume of short stories, novels and script work for both television and film, it's no wonder Matheson's body of work would be in high demand for adaptation. Sadly, due to the time period in which his works were created, some modern audiences find his work dated. That shouldn't matter when Hollywood comes to call, right?
