One Of, If Not The Best Podcast In The Music Space
Phillip has cultivated an amazing community through this podcast. He’s an incredible interviewer, knows all the right questions to ask. But more importantly, his energy is so good that the guests can’t help but have a good time and open up. Not always about the gear, but it’s always a great conversation. I’ve learned things about the ins and outs of the modern pedal/gear industry, new artists to listen to and enjoy.. all sorts of amazing stuff. Phillip is also one of the only credible, bonefied bluesmen you’ll hear from these days. He’s not a white dad wannabe blues player.. he’s *actually from the Mississippi Delta, has *actually played with some of the blues greats, has *actually worked at Ground Zero Blues Club - one of the last bastions of blues music, co-owned by Morgan Freeman… he’s legit. And the other “movers and shakers” are taking notice. Phillip is a real deal guy. He’s a humble and down to earth guy, and he has one of the best podcasts in the game.
