Good mates, good rapport
This is the kind of podcast I’d like to do if any of my mates had (a) the time (b) the inclination, or (c) knew what a podcast is. You probably have at least one friend who makes you laugh and vice versa and you sometimes say “we should do a podcast” (if the friend is one of those who knows what a podcast is). Adam and Symon added a step. They said to each other “let’s audition for Gogglebox” and once on that show, now instant celebrities, a podcast was the next step. Having a fan base will help this show succeed, as will the fact these guys are easy on the eye (not important for a podcast, but it is in building the fan base) and their blokey bromance won’t turn guys off, who enjoy a keen, quick, compatible sense of humour, which has helped the boys develop a great rapport. It feels like they’ve known each other for a long time, they work together, I think I recall they are chiropractors, but maybe now they have given that up, several seasons of “Gogglebox” on. So maybe they began as workmates, maybe at Uni, or earlier. Whatever. They click. But ultimately this is just another podcast featuring two reality TV instant celebrities, albeit with charm, humour and rapport, chatting about nothing. I guess it’d be like if Ben and Blair did a podcast. How long this one lasts will depend on how long Gogglebox remains popular (longer if they find another show after it) or how long they can be bothered. Much better podcasts have ended from ennui.

Effortlessly hilarious. They all bounce so well off each other. Just random chat that will have you laughing the entire time 😂
