“Been a listener since Al started doing the Redskins postgame recaps. I remember marveling at his ability to retain key details and routinely make insightful comments. I’m the same generation as Al and appreciate having someone local who genuinely cares about DC sports, but who also can consolidate a week’s worth of valuable material in a daily podcast. There is no wasted space in the podcast, and you never get the sense that he is out of ideas or bringing others on to the show to just ramble. His guests are smart and understand key issues like analytics, and I feel that if Al did not do this he would have the brains to be a top doctor or lawyer.”
