More Entertainment than History
When I started listening I was hoping for a true analytical look at history’s disasters and what caused them. However, that’s not what this show is at all. It’s more like hearing someone share a “Today I Learned” fact with their friends. There’s very little research or analysis. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone wanting a serious look at history. I‘ll give credit to the hosts for making the topics fun and entertaining. It’s not satire, as one review stated, it’s just a lighter view on history. If your looking for entertainment more than history this might be for you.

show is not meant to be the last word on historical accuracy. is more like general knowledge with some satirical funny take on it. the “facts” are very general and mostly found on wikipedia. i find the interaction between every one entertaining and i don’t take it seriously

Simply put, it’s terrible. Concept seemed interesting, but it’s clear early on that you’re not going to learn anything noteworthy and in many cases the “insights” presented are simply wrong or misinformed. Avoid.

More entertainment than history. They basically read Wikipedia and discuss what they’ve “learned” from that. It’s interesting enough, I suppose, but your hour is likely better spent elsewhere.
