“When I first discovered this podcast, I was hooked! Smart people discussing interesting events from a unique perspective: which variable, if removed, would cause the event to cease happening? Fascinating.
But unfortunately, I’m not super interested in hearing people read online articles aloud. And that has become about 60% (often more) of the podcast.
I live for the episodes where the hosts and guests show up already educated, and speak from their own knowledge and perspective. I love hearing them debate and calculate which occurrences had the greatest impact.
Lately, you only get about 5 minutes of that. The rest is regurgitated information. When someone brings up an interesting point, it’s interrupted with an article reading.
So three stars for what used to be my favorite podcast, and what I hope might return!”
