Great perspective! Deeper look at names, life and history
Based on “Son of a Nobody” I grew up with a lot of biblical history. Recently I’ve listened and followed Useful Charts on YouTube and Fall of Civilizations on YouTube & it’s podcasts. THIS podcast takes a deeper look, which I really appreciate. It rounds out the self-education I’ve enjoyed.

More reviews of The Ancient World
Well researched, produced, informative and at times unexpectedly funny. The quick, satisfying, low calorie alternative to the super sized, epic podcasts such as Hardcore History. Thanks and keep up the excellent work!

The author is slowly finding his voice and is doing a great job of being all inclusive and wading through the disparate histories of some very complex societies. I love the descriptions of the archeological finds of some of these societies.

A very well documented and produced podcast; Scott makes a wonderful work making simple and easy the long centuries that the early civilizations lasted. A superb narrator.
