THE ANECDOTE EP. 100 - Bryan Trottier
Listen now
Description
On Episode 100 of The Anecdote we welcome on Hockey Hall of Famer, 7-time Stanley Cup Champion and Val Marie Saskatchewan native Bryan Trottier.  Prior to the interview, the boys reflect on the journey to episode 100. We talk the peaks and valleys along the way, our favorite memories and how far we have come. After listing player numbers throughout the journey, we go through each number and name a hockey player who comes to mind for each.  Each host gives a Pay it Forward that sticks out to us over the first 99 episodes, and we move to the interview. After bringing Bryan on, we start off where it all began for him growing up in Val Marie and playing junior hockey for the Swift Current Broncos. We discuss his time in New York with the Islanders, how important Saskatchewan and western Canadian values are to him, his time in Pittsburgh and behind the bench in Colorado, as well as family and music.  Following the interview the boys recap, wrap up our number draft, and Logan gives a Local Guy of the Week.  We recap the 4 playoff series that are currently ongoing, and finish up with Alternate Lines presented by TB's Bar and Grill in Watrous.   Appreciate the show?
