Description
[This episode was recorded live on our YouTube/Twitch stream on April 4th] It's that time of the week, people! After quickly discussing and analysing the World Cup groups and Neymar, Messi and Mbappé finally all scoring in the same game, Tommi and Ruairi are ready to take an in-depth look at all the latest footballing action across Serie A and the Premier League. Despite rejoicing for a clutch win away at Juventus, Tommi believes Inter need to turn their form around and do it quick if they intend on challenging AC Milan and Napoli for the Scudetto. Also, what was with all the diving at the Allianz Stadium? Boys, for the sake of the sport... grow up already! In other news, Napoli collect three massive points away at Atalanta, and Ruairi raises the argument that they might as well be playing the best football in Serie A this season. Lower on the table, Roma extend their unbeaten streak away at Sampdoria while Lazio and Fiorentina also keep pushing for a European spot. As for Cagliari, Venezia and Salernitana... it's another zero-point weekend and escaping relegation feels like an increasingly difficult task. As for the Premier League, Liverpool and Manchester City both win and get ready for the big fixture which will arguably decide who will be crowned English champion. Tommi, however, believes that Liverpool are playing with fire and could be found out sometime soon... And what about Frank Lampard's Everton? After their loss to West Ham, Ruairi really can't see them escaping Championship football next season. As for Tottenham, the wheels seem to be spinning and we wonder... will Levy finally spend some money in the summer were Conte to stay? Finally, there is just enough time to preview this week's Champions League quarter finals, so enjoy our wrong predictions! But we'd like to know... what are yours? Tune in and enjoy!
