Description
[This episode was recorded live on our YouTube/Twitch stream on May 2nd] After over a month, we are finally back with our Euroreview Mondays! In this brand new episode, Tommi and Ruairi start their journey across Europe from Turkey, where Marek Hamsik's Trabzonspor have won the league for the first time in 38 years, and Spain, where Carlo Ancelotti becomes the first ever manager to claim each and every title across Europe's top five leagues. Like a boss, boss! It's then time to move to Serie A, where AC Milan win yet with another 1-0 over Fiorentina and Inter Milan don't slip against Udinese, keeping the title race very much alive. Is it actually going to go all the way to the last match day...? It's all starting to feel very tight, just like a relegation battle which sees Salernitana, Venezia and Cagliari drop points as they get ready to play each other in the final rush of the season. We then move to England, where Everton and Burnley get crucial wins for their Premier League survival hopes while Norwich (and probably Watford) start packing their bags for a trip down the Championship. The title contenders keep getting past their opponents with ease, but it's the race to the Champions League spots that all of a sudden starts looking very interesting: can the North London clubs knock Chelsea off their perch? Because now... that would be something! Finally, it's time to review the first legs of the Conference and Europa League before we move on to preview this week's Champions League clashes. In case you were wondering... we can't wait! Tune in and enjoy: there's a whole lot of football to talk about!
