Arrogant
The first two episodes are very good and interesting. The arrogance of the host to proclaim that she was above a conspiracy theory because she is surrounded by science was ridiculous. She would be better served by true introspection instead of the proclamation that she’s above it all protected by all liberalizing “science.” This attitude is the foundation of the culture of micro-aggressions occurring at American universities. After the first two episodes, it becomes a chance for the elite to criticize the ultra-conservative wing for believing in conspiracy theory while ignoring the same proclivities of the ultra-progressive wing. For example: Trump collided with Russia to steal the election—there’s no proof, which is proof that it occurred. Fits the conspiracy theory model well. Trump is a bumbling idiot, how could he possibly have the self discipline for that?

Great topics, great interviews and great presenters. I always find out something new listening to this podcast. It's a great one if you like finding out new information. And ignore the comments about poor production values, it's pretty slick imho :)Read full review »

A clever podcast for clever clogs! Thought provoking and interesting content. A great extension of the print content.

The sound quality could be better (it reminds me of the Times Higher podcast in respect of production values and attitude) and the topics are very loosely gathered so that not everyone will find everything here to be of interest.
