“I started listening on a whim, wholly by accident while searching for a new podcast. I had only just discovered that narrative podcasts were a thing and was interested in something like a good book that you would listen to in early November when it’s raining outside and you’re snuggled up on the couch with a blanket and your coffee, meanwhile I was actually driving to school. I was drawn into the story without any effort and before I knew it, I was in the Antique Shop itself. The narration is so lovely and pristine, the background music and effects are subtle but contribute so much to the experience, the narrative and storytelling reflect a level of skill that I can only envy, and overall I found not a single flaw. As an avid reader from the age of 3 to now over 30, I can say that there have been few stories that I felt like I was truly invested in, as though the events were somehow about me or like a dream that I was remembering. This podcast was one of those stories, and I cannot recommend it enough to enough people. If you are unsure of starting, don’t hesitate. Just like in the story, you find yourself at the Antique Shop only when you are meant to.”
