Helpful, reassuring yet partially unscientific podcast
As someone who studies psychology, there is a lot of unscientific and uninformed information being mentioned, which relies oftentimes on non scientific arguments (e.g. “universe” “masculine energy” “feminine energy”). This is a bummer, since this is one of the few podcasts about relationship anxiety. Furthermore, I think the scope of application is very limited to a certain socioeconomic bubble. Saying that men “were” the breadwinners in the 50s while saying that today men are encouraged to feel their emotions and women are encouraged to break out these traditional gender norms - where exactly? It’s a very small bubble this applies to - there’s still a lot of shame around mens emotions, and still a lot of criticism when women speak up. In many countries (especially non western, especially countries that are not the U.S.) this is not the case at all. Please be specific. It makes it unscientific to not be specific. Besides that, it is enjoyable to listen to, I feel understood :)
