I’ve enjoyed listening to the Archers for years. Often the key social topics are covered very well but some have seriously gone awry of late. Shula’s ‘holier than thou sickly approach to being ordained does nothing to promote the good works people of faith do in the real world. The recent issues relating to Will were dealt with dreadfully. This is a very serious issue in our society and opportunities have been missed to raise awareness of increase numbers of suicides by men.
Tracey is the best character at the minute addressing snobbery and class divide.
