“Katie and Alex have great chemistry as hosts, and as a long time reader of the A.V. Club, I really respect and enjoy hearing their opinions about film and media. My favourite episodes are the ones where they discuss a particular topic (elevated horror, for instance) or film series (such as the Friday the 13th episode, or even the Godzilla episode, which I really enjoyed despite having never seen more than a couple minutes of any Godzilla film). It is a very thoughtful and critically minded yet easy to listen to podcast, and I look forward to it every week.”
