Provocative, educational, always interesting
The Axe Files is not a political podcast as much as it is a humanitarian podcast. This podcast gives much more than opinions - the guests are given room to elaborate on a position or an interesting relatable point in their personal history. Excellent choice of guests who are not in the least prodded or set-up by David’s questions, rather his questions allow for sometimes provocative, sometimes educational, always interesting responses. TAF gives opportunity to encounter some folks with whom you may not be familiar but to whom you will be glad to have been introduced. Each of these guests contributes in someway to broadening my perspective on a topic or even life’s major questions. Many podcasts are personality driven by the host, delightfully, The Axe Files is not. Mr. Axe gives refreshing hope for the place of integrity & decency in our society.

More reviews of The Axe Files with David Axelrod
David Is the very best interviewer: smart, clear, thoughtful, compassionate - he draws his interviewees into a gracious, safe space that honors individual stories. This is an example of THE BEST in active journalism. Thanks.

Such a great look at the people that make it all happen. Love putting personal backgrounds to the people that I have heard of over the years. -1 for new format and interrupting the flow of conversation with commercials. You should seriously reconsider that. Keep at it!
