“Best I can tell, this podcast is trying to support the thesis that Dr. Brandt died by suicide because... he didn’t feel famous enough? Or was lonely? I keep hoping each episode will give me something substantial but instead it’s a ton of namedropping and gushing over superfluous details. The narrator comes across as incredibly vapid and self indulgent. Saying you’re nervous to interview a guy because he’s incredibly handsome? Spending an entire episode on your experience of getting Botox and making a huge deal about how CRAZY it is to get it in the tip of your nose? Huh? It would have been way more interesting to hear about the product business.”
