Desperate to believe…
Entertaining, but it was obvious to anyone with an open mind from the start that Shirley, a young girl desperate for attention and drama was the source. Obvious to all but apparently not to the author of this podcast. Although it claims to be the true story, it’s very heavily dramatised - to the point that it becomes a little pointless. The “expert” is also desperate to believe, to the extent that they make excuses for Shirley’s behaviour.

I have been waiting for another Danny Robins podcast since Haunted a few years ago and was THRILLED to find this one! The actors are really brilliant and Danny’s research and the history/ context bits with the experts is really interesting. 100% would recommend and can’t wait for more episodes.

This podcast is a must to listen to! They weave speculation with documentation of what happened in the past and keep it all so interesting! This podcast will keep you on the edge of your seat and always kept me looking forward to the next week for the next episode!
