“The castor oil for inducing labor is not some esoteric or unfounded claim. When I was living in Germany for 5 years during which time I had 2 children, the university hospital in Hamburg (so again, a research institute, not some esoteric place) gave a castor oil drink to women past their due date. I was 7 days past my due date, given a castor oil “smoothie” then put in a room to relax and wait. Within the hour, I was in labor and had a baby!”

“As has been said before - the hosts are terrible. The voices, the lack of vocabulary and the constant use of ‘like’ and ‘OMG’ is grating and makes them sound incredibly unprofessional. I really enjoy the other Goop podcasts but can’t commit to this one because of the hosts.”
