“Politically incorrect, really? Now that’s code for, I know I’m taking an indefensible position that has no support in science or basic human decency, but if you challenge me I’m going flip the narrative into some free speech malarkey. This type of code switching is itself a threat to free and open discourse. And listening to this podcast is a huge waste of time.
If you’re a conservative looking for kindred spirits, listen to economics podcast. Listen to BBC Analysis. It’s not just that this show is biased, because all these political commentary shows are biased in some respect (although other presenters do a significantly better job of recognizing their own biases and at least attempting to expose the weaknesses of their chosen position). It’s that this guy so clearly wakes up in the morning already knowing WHO he’s going to disagree with before he’s heard WHAT they’ve said. Do you really want to listen to commentary from a guy who forms an opinion on a policy proposal by looking first to who authored it and not to the substance? That’s what this is. Completely arbitrary, non-critical, agency for a movement platform with fore-ordained targets. Congratulations on contributing to the heap of vitriolic media programming that’s destroying meaningful civic discourse in this country.”
