Best of BAM: Belief in Things Unseen, and Q&A

Description
On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank brings up a question that is asked often in our culture, “If we can’t see God, how can we know that He really exists?” It’s not uncommon for skeptics to suppose that Christians are irrational to believe in a God they cannot see. In reality, however, it is irrational for skeptics to suppose that what cannot be seen does not exist. Christians and skeptics alike recognize black holes, electrons, laws of logic, and gravity even though all of these are unseen. As Paul wrote in his epistle to the Romans, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (Romans 1:20 NIV). The order and the complexity of the universe testify to the existence of an uncaused first cause—God. Hank also answers the following questions: What is the biblical doctrine of heaven and the Millennium? What is the significance of the 144,000? Joy - Modesto, CA (3:14) When were the dinosaurs created? Why aren’t they mentioned in the Bible? Tadeu - Pompano Beach, FL (7:49) How was there sin in heaven when the devil rebelled? Delita - Saint Clair, MO (15:14) What level of consciousness will we have after death? Do our souls sleep or are we aware of what is happening? Suzy - Swift Current, SK (18:31) What are your thoughts on predestination and election? Is it possible to be interested in God but not actually saved? August - Olympia, WA (20:51)
