A useful listen for earthquake zone dwellers
After listening to all episodes, I’ve been promoting this to my fellow California dwelling friends and family, especially to those who find the thought of even trying to prepare for disaster overwhelming, so something they skip. A minimalistic radio play is interspersed between interviews with experts and survivors, with a list of tips, many of which are free to implement, at the end of every episode. Sharing some of those tips has led to coworkers saying “oh, yeah, I can do that” more than once (such as for having essential contact information written down in your emergency kit in case your electronic contact book is out out of commission). Later episodes explain the reasoning behind the structure of the series.

This is so interesting, informative, unique, and really, really well made! I was nervous that the subject matter might make me anxious, but it was truly enjoyable to listen to and I can’t wait for more.
