Growing up around LA I’ve been through a few earthquakes and spent some time imagining The Big One hitting. The podcast is a vivid portrayal of how this could all play out, taking the listener on a journey home, through crumbled infrastructure as events have just begun to unroll. This survival narrative is mixed in with talk to experts and with folks who have lived through earthquakes in the past telling their stories. Helpfully there are some practical tips on offer to—what should you do when caught in a quake?? Well done and super listenable.

Why feel the need to insert so much time for the producers personal feelings and personal preparedness. A spouse? No, please, no. No need to go through your mock drill at home.
