“As an anxious LA transplant from New England, this podcast has been fueling an interesting cycle of masochistic fascination, quelled by a sense of safety (in knowledge and free earthquake kits).
Yes, the unwavering facts are terrifying but the host and his team are diligent in informing and preparing us (emotionally, as well as logistically) for the Big One.
The podcast does an expert job of combining historical & scientific data, story-telling, interviews (from government officials, community leaders, other quake survivors, etc), and a sprinkling of (perhaps seemingly unrelated) tidbits of knowledge... all together to make one cohesive, well-polished series that is incredibly easy (and dare I say fun?) to digest.
While the series isn’t even fully released yet, I also feel better just knowing that this knowledge is getting out there.
