A great resource!
Working on Irish Music as an outsider for just under a year - going to sessions makes it apparent what everyone says - that this is a social music first and foremost. The conversations here make that extremely apparent, showing how much in the way of personal and international history can travel through the 16 bars of a tune. Beautiful work.

As an Irish musician myself it is wonderful to listen to others and find out what inspires them, & to hear some lovely songs and tunes. Great job fellas.

Might seem like a bit of a brass neck, giving ourselves a five star review, but really - more than us, I’m giving the players in tis podcast the review. Because it's beautiful to hear these amazing musicians reflect on their music and what it means to them. Nuff said.Read full review »
