So glad I found this podcast
I’ve been a Stephanie Miller podcast suscriber for years and I enjoyed the Tuesday interviews with Bob Cesca. After hearing about this podcast, I tried it out and immediately became addicted. Listening to the show is not unlike listening to a conversation between a child and his long-suffering babysitter. Bob is bathed in excitement as he discusses his newest “toy” - whether that comes in the form of a Nerd-tastic movie trailer, an idiotic misstep from a GOP presidential candidate, or an unintentionally hilarious clip from Idiocracy poster boy Dan Bidandi. Chez’s job is to both ground Bob to reality and crush his enthusiasm. You get the impression that between podcasts Bob is playing with his “Better Call Saul” action figures while Chez is calling up Anthony Bourdain to get a recipe tip for how best to cook his fiancé’s cat. If you like liberal leaning comedy mixed with irreverent social commentary, this is your sweet spot. You may hear fun insights into television and/or movies, scathing political insights and sweet, sweet satire all mixed together in a podcast that will make you both laugh and think. Warning: This show can become extremely addicting. I ended up subscribing to the After Party and then becoming a Patron. Worth every penny.
