Description
This week on The Whiskey Trip Podcast, Big Chief takes a ride with Ella Parlor, author of the best selling book High Tolerance: The Intoxicating World of Alcohol Marketing. Ella tells listeners of her rise from an 18-year-old pitching energy drinks to becoming a marketing head for two of the largest companies in the alcohol industry. She now has her own successful podcast, consulting agency, and is a best selling author. There’s nothing this woman can’t do says the Big Man. To represent the brands that Ella worked with Big Chief starts the show with Jameson Irish Whiskey -  making people happy since 1780. They then move on to Jefferson’s Ocean-Aged at Sea, Voyage 29 Wheated. You can almost taste the salt of the sea and feel the waves. To start the second half the Big Man cracks open a Bulleit 10 Year Frontier Whiskey - don’t think this would have made it 10 years on the frontier. To finish the show a bottle of Jonnie Walker Black Label is pulled out. At 12 years old this can be a beautiful blended Scotch Whisky. This ride on The Whiskey Trip shows Big Chief’s fascination with marketing. Cheers!
