Simon Burney has been part of Mountainbike racing since day one. An injury stopped his own Cyclo-Cross career too early, as a team manager he developed Champions. His passion and experience continuously grew the sport. With his openness for change, he keep’s things fresh. Today he is the UCI Off-Road manager, just coming back from the Tokyo Olympic games. Simon is sharing first hand insights: designing the best XC course ever, why it takes a team to win gold and his excitement, leaving for his 32nd MTB World Championships to Val di Sole.
