Amara La Negra is singer, actress and host. She is perhaps best known for being a cast member on the VH1’s reality TV show, 'Love & Hip Hop: Miami.' On the show, she tries to bring light to sexism, classism, colorism and racism in the entertainment industry. She also recently became a new mother to twins and hosts a podcast called Exactly Amara.  In this episode, Amara talks about the challenges of her Afro-Latina identity, how it has affected her career, and her hopes to educate people about Afro-Latinos.
