Makes the Entertainment Business Entertaining
Host Claude Brodesser is not only a writer for Variety, but he's a pretty darned talented radio personality to boot. The risk for a show like this is that it could be dry and above the heads of the average listener, but it turns out to be an insightful, witty, wry and perceptive examination of Hollywood that exposes other entertainment "news" shows as the fluff they really are. Business issues in entertainment are treated here with a great sensitivity to be delivered in a compelling way and the show is surprisingly interesting while maintaining a smart sense of humor. It's educational enough to turn any listener into a savvy Hollywood "insider". And find out why "schadenfreude" is the current buzzword adored by people in the Business.
