Maya is CEO of Zalul environmental association, one of Israel’s leading environmental NGOs, dedicated to marine preservation, focusing on eliminating pollution from the Mediterranean and Red Seas, from Israel’s streams and rivers, and water preservation. She has over 20 years of experience in media strategies and influencing public opinion, and has been dedicating these abilities for the environment in the past 10 years. During her time with Zalul Maya led the organization to many achievements and today she is in a very unique position in which she leads the biggest environmental campaigns and struggles on the one hand while initiating and leading many collaborations on the other.
