"The problems uncovered in the audit are only the tip of the iceberg." Walking on thin ice - to participate in an activity that will have a negative outcome. "You're walking on thin ice by not telling the truth." Put it on ice - to delay something for an undetermined amount of time. "We lost our funding so we'll have to put our plans for expansion on ice." Ice queen - a person who is cold, unfriendly or lacks emotions. "I heard my new boss can be an Ice Queen!"
