Sponsored episode? How about more REAL ones first?
I've been subscribed to the C&D podcast for a long time now and I have no idea what they want this podcast to be. The format of the podcast has changed several times as if they're starting over each time. They've even titled a recent episode "Season 2, Episode 1" but I have no idea how they decided there was a first season. PLEASE, settle on a format and stick with it! Also, most podcasts come out once or twice per week but so far, it's been difficult to predict when a new episode will arrive. Just from listening to podcasts, I know that consistency is podcasting 101. Their sporadic delivery of episodes reveals how little the suits at C&D know about gaining a following. Finally and most importantly, the follow up to a claimed "Season 2 Episode 1" is a "Sponsored Episode". This seems familiar...oh wait, it IS familiar. You'll see a whole page in C&D magazine that gushes about a car but looks like it's part of the magazine only to see the fine print "Sponsored Content". Sorry C&D, you haven't provided enough regular podcast content to make me even consider listening to a Toyota commercial that you pass off as an episode. Strangely, probably because I'm thirsty for more car podcasts, I'll continue to subscribe in hopes of it improving. However, this has gotten tiring and if things don't improve, I'll move on.

Love to hear the Car and Driver team's impressions of what's hot and what new at the auto show. What a great new format for car enthusiasts.

The guys on the podcast seem half-asleep! Car content and stories are great though. Someone needs to give these guys three coffees each and a triple shot espresso before they start recording :)
