“I am a cradle Catholic and was raised by my devout mother in the faith. She, wanting to ensure that I was properly confirmed early on and thus fulfill her duty, was able to somehow get me confirmed when I was only two. My whole life I felt like I was missing the Church’s teachings. I went to Catholic school from Kindergarten to 12th grade, and learned some teachings there, but never picked up or even owned the Catechism of the Catholic Church. I am so ready to learn with Fr. Mike, I cannot even tell you. I bought the beautifully bound Catechism from Ascension and cannot wait to absorb and understand the scriptures about why we, as Catholics, believe what we do. I am so grateful to Ascension, Fr. Mike, and Jeff Cavins. I would never be able to read this on my own without their guidance and explanation. My life is richer because of them. Thank you for doing this! May God continue to shower you with blessings on this journey we are all taking.”
