Description
🎹 Kicking off December with a Christmas movie... well sort of. There's a Christmas tree! That counts, right? Anyway, you can always find a good excuse to talk about Dario Argento, and this is the perfect opportunity to discuss one of his finest works, Deep Red (aka Profondo Rosso). This was not only the movie that made him an Italian household name, but it also transformed the Giallo subgenre, and went on to become a major influence for North American horror. James Wan being a great example. There is plenty to talk about here, from the rich cinematography, to the violent death scenes, and the delightfully captivating performance by Daria Nicolodi as Gianna Brezzi. As always, we'll also nominate which characters we think were most deserving of death for The Cherry Picker, so make sure to stick around til the end of the episode. ● ● ● ▶️ Watch the Video Podcast ☑️ Vote in the Cherry Picker ● ● ● 📷 Follow The Cherry Picker on Instagram 🎶 Follow The Cherry Picker on TikTok 🐦 Follow The Cherry Picker on Twitter ● ● ● ▶️ Check out Zack's Main YouTube Channel 📷 Follow Zack on Instagram 🐦 Follow Zack on Twitter ● ● ● ▶️ Check Out Eddie's Main YouTube Channel 📷 Follow Eddie on Instagram ● ● ● 💲 Support on Patreon Support the show
