“CJ is one of my favourite hockey journalists and I have listened to this pod since Ep 1. I’ve given Julian tons of runway to get comfortable as a host. But he is still so so awkward and repetitive and stilted. Cringey. He does lots of panel shows outside of this pod and I think many of his habits come from shows with different formats. In order to make your point and be heard in a 4 person panel show, repeating your point becomes a habit? I don’t know. All I do know is that it really detracts from my enjoyment. Maybe others at SDPN can give him some constructive feedback. My listening days feel numbered.”
