Will Donald Trump go to Jail?
Listen now
Description
History was made yesterday when former US President Donald Trump was found guilty by a New York jury of 34 counts of falsifying business records, by using hush money to cover up a relationship with a porn star ahead of the 2016 election.  Their verdict made him the first ever American President to be convicted of a crime.  Experts are saying that Trump's most ardent supporters will be emboldened by the decision, however, the jury is split as to how it will affect the views of the all important independent voters.  Washington Correspondent for the Australian Newspaper Adam Creighton joined Luke Grant to discuss what the verdict means for the election, the politisation that may have underpinned the decision and to answer the question on everyone’s lips: will we see Donald Trump behind bars?
