JJ is very articulate and clearly prepares thoroughly for each podcast. However, the podcast feels like every other NBA podcast. We don't need JJ to give us his best "media-member" impression - he doesn't need to be polished and predictable. Yes, he can tell us stories of team plane rides and he has great access to players, but if he doesn't allow the listeners to feel the unique relationship - the inside jokes, the personal relationships, etc. - then the podcast isn't reaching its potential.
