Great style
I listened to the course lectures in the car while commuting as usual. What I liked in prof. Blight is his style in delivering the information. History is pretty dry subject to start with, so we need someone like prof. Blight in a story telling fashion to make us interested. He did that perfectly. I used to listened to the lectures even if I have a 5 mins commute. Infomative, nonbiased "to the best he could", and has a style. I enjoyed every min listening to him.

You cannot be adequately informed on the most recent scholarship concerning the Civil War without encountering David Blight. Well done course, and exciting perspective on this period. Extremely relevant if you want to understand race relations today.
