“I’ve been a closet Columbo fan for many years now (a guilty pleasure deemed ‘uncool’ by the cool brigade.) It therefore never ceases to amaze me how loved the show still is.
I’m a firm believer that Columbo is, unquestionably, amongst the very finest TV ever made. I strongly argue that 6 of the very best episodes could even have held up to movie releases?
The boys do a good job of sounding befuddled, ill prepared and suitably shambolic. But their passion for the show is in no doubt. So please continue, and maybe you will even convince me the 90’s episodes were acceptable after all.
