“Compulsive listening for anyone with an interest in policing, the judicial system or other factors impacting upon community safety.
Two standout episodes for me were:
Iain Donnelly. Nice to hear someone who achieved a significant rank and yet is still prepared to be frank about the performance and competence of their peers. This would be an important step in rebuilding/repairing the trust and reputation of the police service, which has suffered greatly over the past few years (and most of it is nothing to do with budgets/cuts).
Caroline Goode. A truly harrowing account of a horrific crime. I am so glad that you were the SIO on this career-defining, senseless murder - and that you still work to raise awareness of honour killing/violence in your retirement!”
