“Brendan said it best this past episode: They’re super slow to look at those lesser known brands (On, Hoka etc.) Also I love Welty when he’s passionate about something but when he doesn’t like something or doesn’t know how he feels it’s always “this is the worst thing ever, they’re horrible, or I heard someone say they’re bad so they’re bad” Like come on dude just have an open mind and give these brands a shot. You only talk about 3-4 brands tops anyways unless you’re trying to get some for free ones sent to you like No Bull. They’ve got an endless list of contacts from the industry and it’s made for some great conversations, but you could even tell that after a while: Is the podcast an ad or an actual conversation?”
