#65 Disney Domination
Listen now
Description
Avengers: Infinity War broke a BAJILLION dollars in record time, ELEVEN DAYS, and that got us thinking ... Disney is kinda running the world now when it comes to entertainment, but we don’t often hear their name associated with properties you’d expect, like Marvel or Lucasfilm. Of course, we know this, and a lot of movie fans “know” this, but is it fair to assume that the general movie-going populace does?  We don’t think so ... they’re just going to the movies on a Friday night to see the thing they’ve been seeing commercials for that looks cool. In this episode, we break down how Disney has become so dominant in the entertainment marketplace, and the side effects this has on consumers as well as the entire industry itself! Enjoy! SPECIAL FEATURE: Thank you to ArchyJ, aka "TheSnakeCharmer," for making this amazing theme arrangement! Be sure and check out her YouTube channel for other fantastic bagpipe arrangements of popular themes like Pirates of the Caribbean and Game of Thrones!
