The Two Jacks - Episode 66 - Where to for the Liberal Party?
Listen now
Description
Expanded polling shows the Coalition has been unable to bridge the gap between it and the Albanese government. The polling at this stage in the electoral cycle remains stubbornly 52-48. Polling aside, the Liberal Party continues to ignore what was its constituency and has a serious problem with women voters. HK Jack says the Libs never really stood a chance of winning the next election given the serious rejection of the Morrison government. JTI maintains that a loss at the next election creates the possibility of an existential crisis within the party. In other news, the Lehrmann-Higgins legal battles plummet to new depths with allegations Lehrmann lied under oath and forwarded copies of the criminal brief to the Channel Seven network. Around the world, new Scottish laws again criminalise speech and in the US, Trump's Media network cops a flogging on the equities' markets. In sport, the Rabbits chalk up a much needed win while the Pies are back in town in the AFL.
