“I found a lot of it very myopic. How can you expect to be taken seriously in your viewpoint on an issue if you aren’t even informed on it? If you don’t know, for example, what a procedure entails, how can you criticize it? Even if it is worth criticizing, you’re ill-equipped to do it. I see this same thing from liberals on the topic of the electoral college — they cannot explain what it is or how it works or what the thought behind it is, but they want it gone. If there is a valid reason to dissolve it, such a person certainly wouldn’t be the one to provide that reason. On this podcast, I’ve witnessed similar myopia. One example is on transgenderism. There are many valid criticisms and concerns (I say this as someone who has read the medical journals and research, myself). But you cannot expect to be taken seriously, criticizing procedures you can’t even describe. Really, you don’t know what you’re talking about. I do appreciate the passion, but I’d prefer a more evenly-paced dialogue that shows better preparation. It’s not just this issue that suffers from a lack of information and preparedness, it’s any criticism of liberals that ends up sounding hypocritical when you’re no more informed than they are on these issues.”
