Yes. An absolute must.
The expertise on this podcast is astounding. Reflecting particularly on Kohei Saito’s discussion with David Palumbo-Liu, I was blown away by the way that climate-conscious actions marketed as effective (pun intended) are really just advancing a consumerist agenda disguised in pretty packaging. I was so invested in the episode that I kept finding myself wanting to step through my laptop and ask questions. (silly, except physical laws- as I recently also learned in this podcast series- are not necessarily fixed!) Seriously though, any episode on this series will help you level a critical eye towards our circumstances and the forces- be they abstract or material- that are actively shaping them. More importantly, shifting between disciplines and lines of inquiry, this podcast series gives you the resources to think of the world in mosaic-terms; a composite of stitched together relations that impact each other at every level.

Anna Lembke absolutely amazed me. She is so incredibly intelligent, but so easy to listen to speak. She really gave me a new perspective for how I understand my role in society and also helped me to understand my own behaviors and dopamine triggers!

I love this podcast! I listened to the interview with Karen McManus and I loved hearing about her writing process AND her motivation to pursue her dreams as a writer! As a writer myself, I loved hearing from someone as successful and creative as her.
