Extraordinarily helpful!
It’s my first year teaching in the public schools, I teach 9th grade biology, and I am 55 years old. The things I did not know coming into the classroom continue to astound me. Ms. Gonzalez’s website and podcast have helped me on so many levels. From classroom management, to actual teaching and learning strategies, to thinking about the philosophy and policy around education. She is amazingly frank and open, willingly laying out her own experiences, and mistakes, so that we can really learn that we are not alone, and that we all make mistakes. But just like we tell our students, every mistake is an opportunity to learn, Ms. Gonzalez does just that! Thank you so much for putting this information out there!!

Recently started listening and I'm hooked. I'm a grad student that will hopefully be teaching soon and I have been looking for something to help in the transition. This has really helped me. It's kind of like sitting down with a veteran teacher and listening to their advise.Read full review »
