Choose a better example
While I was truly looking forward to this podcast because teachers need a clear and concise explanation of Backward Planning, I found the example to be puzzling at best and generally confusing. If you are a literature(language teacher, why would you choose a science topic as an example? In addition, the podcast got off to an excellent beginning but your use of the lunar cycles as an example was not clear nor was it easily understandable. This was disappointing because I think teachers unfamiliar with the Backward Planning lesson process will not be helped by this podcast.
