‘Tis the season, folks! The end of the year usually brings about all kinds of festive feelings, as well as the joys of putting together the Christmas dinner menu and (online-)shopping for those last remaining presents. But for most of us out there, there is a Grinch looming behind the freshly decorated Christmas tree, and it has the potential to ruin your entire holiday unless you work hard on ignoring it. I’m talking about the dreaded performance review (also known as self-review)! Maybe it’s your first one having to write one, or maybe you’re already a pro at procrastinating it year after year - but in any case, I wanted to share my tips in order to make this whole thing a little less dreadful.
